A few months after the scandal surrounding accusations of cheating on anti-pollution standards, Volkswagen recently revealed that it had manipulated CO2 emissions data. The Group has now published the complete list of 2016 vehicles implicated in this fraud. Is your vehicle one of them?
Among them are models from the VW, Audi, and Seat brands. The Group has not yet released information on the other vehicles produced in preceding years, which may increase the total figure to 800,000 vehicles implicated in the scandal.

The owners of Volkswagen vehicles can now consult the dedicated web page of the brand’s site to check if their vehicle is affected.
Furthermore, VW has stated that “any possible fees incurred when the vehicle is registered resulting from a CO2 emissions level that differs from the original, whether related to the registration document or the vehicle’s insurance bonus-malus calculation will be covered by the manufacturer”.
